Over the last 20 years, clients have varied hugely in their requirements and at Event Fusion, our sole priority is what our clients' want. From the first phone call to the farewells at the end, of what could be a long period, the entire journey is managed with tact and sensitivity. The event could be a one-off, part of a series, private, corporate or charity but each is treated with the same kindness, diplomacy and respect based on circumstances, requirements and, of course, the budget.
The first call is basically a fact-finding mission and taking a brief. What is the event? When is it, where is it, how many guests? Is there a need for venue, marquee, audio visual, invitations, reply service, music, food, drinks, flowers, security, transport, accommodation, temporary roads, generators, CSAS traffic officers, chapter nine barriers for crowd control, approval from local authorities or even just moving the cows from one field to another and notifying neighbours with livestock that there will be fireworks.
The second most important aspect is to visit the client in their home or office or field (depending where the event will be) to establish what they want is achievable, bearing in mind that our motto is never to say no! Everything is possible but it might just come down to how much is realistic.
Once the basic outline has been established, the next part of the journey is to carefully select the right team of suppliers to deliver. The client may have ideas of their own and we are happy to work with anyone that is able to deliver beyond expectations, on time and within budget. We have a tried and tested team of outstanding suppliers with whom we have worked for many years and who are at the top of their game and in whom we trust.
It is important that all suppliers see the venue (even if it is a marquee plan) and then put together their quotes. They are an integral part of the team and without them the event will not happen. The advantage of using Event Fusion is that we 'filter out the noise'. We will recommend the best suppliers for that event and manage their quotes to a level where we feel comfortable presenting to the client. This is the first quote of many over the next months and it is imperative that the client is involved at every stage. After all, is is their party and it needs to look like it - not something that has been dreamt up by an event organiser.
Over the next months, quotes will be refined and finalised, the invitations will go out and replies will start to come in, menus and wines chosen, flowers agreed, look and feel of the event will come together and then it is a case of waiting for the day.
Be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday party, charity fundraiser or three-day international corporate conference, a branding exercise, launch of a new product or brand the client will be in very good, safe and experienced hands.
If YOU feel we could add value, FUN and creativity to your event (and yes, even a conference can be fun) and the planning process, please do get in touch.
Warmest wishes
Charlotte
